“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”

Albert Einstein

Hypnotherapy is an alternative medical practice that has been used for thousands of years to solve a number of physical, mental, and emotional problems.

It is a form of psychotherapy that is applied to a patient while in a state of sleep or unconsciousness called trance. This method is called hypnosis, which is a natural process that a hypnotherapist uses to influence how the patient thinks, feels, and behaves.

The Therapist can enlist the clients’ unconscious to help solve the issue. The Conscious mind (day Time Brain) is bypassed or moved to one side so the unconscious can solve the problem without being interfered with.

The therapy utilises guided relaxation techniques from a trained hypnotherapist to promote intense relaxation, concentration, and focus to achieve heightened awareness. It is used to address and treat a wide range of conditions including:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Sleep disorders
  • Phobias
  • Panic attacks
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
  • Grieving
  • Smoking withdrawal
  • Weight loss

It is also useful for a number of physical problems such as chronic pain, old pain and muscle tension as well as addictive behavioural problems such as smoking, overeating, and over consumption of alcohol.
